Sail and Oar success!

A great Thank You and a big pat on the back to everyone who was involved in, and attended the maritime festival. Thank you as well to the organisers of the weather too...it couldn't have been better!

My family and I had a great day. Thank you to those who gave up their free time to make ours so enjoyable.

Our daughter and I had a go at dingy sailing, my parents loved the woodworking and crafts, the music was great, the tug of war was terrific, and the raft race was a fabulous team building event....again... very well done to every single person who organised/helped with all the events.

It was a pleasure to see so many families having a brilliant day out together, and the marvellous backdrop of this lovely wee island was the cherry on the cake.

We had friends from Lowestoft visiting today,  they loved the island, and commented that their photographs looked as if they had been in the med !

Magic stuff.
