Cumbrae Community Council

Minutes of Meeting held on Monday 5th July 2010 in the Computer Suite of the Town Hall.

Present; M.Smith, Chairperson, C. MacCulloch, Secretary,
R. Griffin Treasurer, R. Baxter.

Apologies; R. Liddell and I. Frame.

Matters Arising; Three members attended the North Coast Meeting the only item relating to Cumbrae was that there was £600 in the Millport Common Good Fund.
A C.C. member when asked stated that the Grass Verges were not cut yet and in the past were always cut before July also the growth hanging over on to the road was always cut back at the same time this has not been done the last couple of years.

Still no hope of the toilets/changing rooms at West Bay being repaired even after a list of Funding Address were given to the appropriate organisations able to apply.

Still no answer from Scottish Water about the New Water Main.

Correspondence; A letter from a family in Creiff requesting information on a memorial idea on the island, the secretary replied.
An application for planning for change of use of guest house to form dwelling house including re-roofing and replacement windows at East Neuk, 16 Kames Bay, Millport.

Councillors Report;No Councillor AGAIN.

Police Report; No Report.

A.O.C.B.;A request for more bench seats at Ninian Swing Park will be passed on to N.A.C.
Information is required as to how the Blue Flag Beach can be restored.

Next Meeting;Monday 2nd August at 6pm in Computer Suite, Town Hall, Millport.
Cumbrae Community Council meet first Monday of every month at 6-00.
