MILLPORT V MILLPORT LEGENDS

Millport will play a team of former players on Saturday 1pm  at West Bay.

Legendary former player and manager Jamsie Robertson will pick the legends team from a selection of former Finlayson cup winners including, McKay, Doig, Sharp, Templeman and Auld.

Well Campbell it was not painless , sore today but glad to take part in the game , sorry you could not make it but it was a good competition , a lesson to be learned age means not a lot when you have a good brain and experience !

Gutted I couldn't make it.  Hope it's going to be held again as i'd love to meet up with all the 'auld yins' again.  Hopefully, a wee night out just for sociable reasons will follow any future match!

 Going by the result it looks like the leg-ends can still strut their stuff!  Well done lads.

Hi Mikey,we will be doing it again next year probably on the 23rd July, although there was a good turn out from the legends there was a few like yourself and Campbell who couldn’t make it. Hopefully with a bit more notice everyone will make it and I’ll get back on the young team.
