Millport Raft Race

by Gillian Docherty

Millport Raft Race (fundraiser organised by Millport parent, carers and toddlers) will take place on Sunday 19th August this year to coincide with the Sail and Oar Festival. The race will start at Kames Bay at 2pm and finish at Millport Harbour.

Application forms can be picked up from the Royal George Hotel or by emailing gharkin66@hotmail.com

You can also download a copy of the entry form here.

The raft race will be followed by a disco provided by Escape Promotions with raffle and coin throw to win a bottle in the Royal George Hotel from 8pm.

There will be a shield for the 1st raft to cross the finish line as well as a trophy for the best dressed raft (so get your thinking caps on for a theme for your raft)

Look forward to seeing you all there.
