Lady Margaret Hospital is due to expand this summer with the addition of new facilities that will particularly benefit elderly patients.
Accommodation, consulting rooms and physiotherapy facilities will be added, at a cost of £585,000, and it is hoped they will be ready to use by July of this year.
Jean Kerr and June Allison of the Elderly Forum
supported the development, and joined discussions with Ayrshire and Arran Health Board over several weeks.
