Hebridean Princess

by Sandy Morton

Following is copied from the Friends of the Cathedral Newsletter -

As for the Hebridean Princess, she is scheduled to be with us on 4 and 17 March, and 3, 10 and 19 November. This means we expect 30 or so people to be at the Cathedral on those days from about 2-4pm.

Sorry about the poor quality photo - the sun was in the wrong place! But this was Millport Bay this afternoon - tourist on the 4th of March - brilliant!

Lovely to see the sun and visitors so early, long may it continue.

Here's a picture taken from the pier later in the afternoon. I just managed to catch the last party as they were departing for the ship. They were on a 5 day sail and were heading for Loch Long and then back to Fairlie. The parting comment was "We just love your island". Let's hope we can encourage more cruises to think of Millport as a regular stopping place.
