Cumbrae is now our skiff!

Thanks to the amazingly normal generosity of the people of Cumbrae and of other places enough funds have been raised to ensure that Cumbrae will remain at her home and be insured for the near future.

Fundraising has not stopped however since if she is to travel and be suitably and gracefully raced more funds will be required.

She is already a great credit to our community and to the people who built, crewed and raced her.  So let's have a few more pounds to ensure that she can also be raced furth of Cumbrae and show the rest of Scotland just how wonderful we are!

Thanks so far and thanks in anticipation - maybe they will have skiff racing at the next Olympics!  In anticipation of this it is hoped that a rowing club will soon be formed which will be open, within reason, to either sex and any age group.  Watch s1millport for more news.
