Cumbrae Community Garden

by Frank Corcoran

The Garden is now open for use and any intended members should contact Patrick Kelly Garden Development Officer at the Business Centre, Lodge House in the Garrison. Sadly we must report some acts of vandelism on the site, the poly-tunnel has been damaged in a number of places over the weekend mostly on Sunday evening, the parties were spotted and have been reported to the police. This garden is public property funded by puplic money any anyone found to be responsible for the damage will be taken to the full letter of the law in regard to destruction of public property and beaking and entering to a lock fast premises. This action will be taken regardless of the age of the parties found to be guilty.
