A deer in West Bay, Millport

Last Saturday morning, July 17 at 5.40 a.m. I looked out my kitchen window and was surprised to see a deer. I rushed to get my camera as the deer was clearly looking for a way out of the walled garden. It obviously jumped the wall to get into the garden but getting out would be more difficult. It eventually found the lowest part of the wall and was away. What a beautiful animal and such a treat to see.

Apparently, there are 2 young males on the island.  We've seen them 3 times up at the Cathedral.  Lovely to see them around!  :)  Thanks for the pictures, Dorothy!
