Look on your own shelves!!

My thanks to all who've given me information.

On searching my shelves for something else I found among many of the books of township pictures "Millport Pier Album" authored by Alastair Chisholm and published in 1992 by St Maura Press  ISBN 0 9519454 0 8.   It has a whole chapter called "The Boathirers" of 6 pages  and details their history from 1893 up until 1988.

So it was all there underneath my eyes
